PH: Okay Travis, you have an intention for your book to come out again, right?
TW: Yes, I’m updating it and it should be ready for reprinting in the next couple of months.
PH: You said you also want to edit part of your book. What would you want to change after all these years?
TW: There are a few things that they just wouldn’t let me say, that I think need to be said.
PH: You said there were a few things that they wouldn’t let you say. Do you mean the publisher?
TW: Yeah, the publisher was very paranoid about me and lawsuits and things. When encountering false accusations and things, they wanted me to tone down my replies.
PH: One of the things you told me one time was that you didn’t know what the craft was doing there in the first place.
TW: People ask me what are these things, where do they come from, what’s the answer to all this. As far as the phenomena in general, it’s a variety of things. As far as explaining what my case in particular is, I try to stick to just what I saw, what I experienced, and I’m not trying to give an explanation beyond what I really know. These things could be…some people have theories of other dimensions, coming through time, there are theories that there are secret organizations on Earth that have certain craft…it could be any or all of these, because who knows?
PH: Is the part where you came off the craft and were in what looked like a military hangar, the part that they didn’t want you to talk about?
TW: That’s not one of the things they didn’t allow me to say too much about. There were some other things that have happened in the meantime that kind of suggest a little covert government activity that I might want to expand on.
PH: Are you one of those people, Travis, that is in favor of disclosure?
TW: I’m absolutely in favor of disclosure. I know we can handle it.
PH: Can your kids handle it, do you think?
TW: I’m certain my kids can handle it. I think perhaps the people with the most to fear from full disclosure are the people who are keeping the secrets.
PH: Do you think the secrets have to do with technology, or with possibly redefining our society?
TW: All of the above.
PH: I really appreciate it because I know that you having had this experience firsthand, are the best person to speak about this, and Exopolitics in general is in favor of disclosure. Do you feel it’s going to happen in our lifetime?
TW: Well, this is just one person’s opinion. What happened to me only makes me an expert about what happened to me. As an opinion, I would like to see something happen in our lifetime. You kind of get the feeling that things are running out of time, they’re running out of excuses.
PH: Do they laugh less at this? Is there less ridicule than when you started?
TW: Well, just the scientists who have identified planets outside our solar system, that’s never been acknowledged before in the history of humanity. Now they know.
PH: So when you speak, they don’t think it’s silly any more. They really take you more seriously in 2008 than ten years ago?
TW: I think the evidence supporting my report has stood the test of time. There have been a lot of people scratching around for a long time trying to discredit it however they can, and the things that have fallen by the way have been those accusations, nothing that I’ve reported.
